What is BLUFENZ™
BLUFENZ™ is a permanently bonded anti-microbial technology designed to provide a clean and germ free surface on textiles. The anti- microbial property works round the clock and provides a barrier of protection against bacteria and pathogens by inhibiting their growth in textiles.
Textiles including uniforms, linens, drapes and curtains are highly prone for contamination during its course of usage in Hospitals. Hospitals employ measures of using Disposable products wherever economical feasibility provides room. However, the vast majority of textiles continue to be the Resuable products, increasing the chances of contamination. BLUFENZ™ technology has been applied to different products to provide a germ free experience. Apart from hospital based reusable products, the BLUFENZ™ technology has been applied to several other products including Cleanroom wear, Reusable Sanitary Napkins and Airmasks.

EFFECTIVE AGAINST MRSA
The science behind BLUFENZ™ is an unique antimicrobial technology that provides a barrier of protection which is highly effective and everlasting. An anti-microbial shield is formed by a long molecular chain of carbon atoms with a +vely charged nitrogen attached to a Silica Atom that is covalently bonded to the fabric. Pathogen, which are negatively charged comes in contact with the +vely charged molecular chain & undergoes lysis. This mechanism provides continuous defense achieving anti-microbial activity and does not deplete over washes.

Product Details
BLUFENZ™ technology can be applied on a variety of textile products with different substrates. The Anti-microbial efficacy was tested using JISL 1902:2008 and ISO 11737 standards. BLUFENZ has a kill rate of 99.99% against opportunistic pathogens including Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans & Asperigillus brasiliensis. The unique anti-microbial shield is permanently bonded to the product and is effective against MRSA.
